this 10,000 square foot residence is designed in the style of a brick manor house. its horizontal bar plan separates formal entertainment spaces from the casual living quarters.  the formal entry foyer features a grand stair with wood paneling and oversized window wall. living spaces, which are organized along a spine running the length of the building, orient themselves to the rear of the property and overlook landscaped grounds, a swimming pool, and pool house.

 

the second story houses a master suite and four bedrooms with private baths, as well as recreation rooms over the garage. a vehicular garage courtyard is hidden behind the two brick wing walls of the house.  two sets of double garage doors are set at right angles to each other to define the edges of the courtyard.
