Rob Bramhall

DSC_1260.jpg

Rob brings nearly forty years of experience in architecture and construction to his clients and their projects. A New Englander by birth, the RBA-founder spent his teen years framing houses and his college summers on Nantucket as a carpenter and painter. An avid outdoorsman, Rob later lived in the mountains of Montana and Wyoming while training to become an architect, hiking, fishing and enjoying powder mornings. His love of the rugged West and of his native New England has given form to a design sensibility that embraces the best of both, blending a deep respect for history and regional architectural traditions with an abiding reverence for nature in all her forms.

Before enrolling in architecture school, Rob pursued foundational studies in Building Construction at Dean College outside Boston, and later earned Bachelor and Master of Architecture degrees from Montana State University in Bozeman. A member of the American Institute of Architects, Rob is a Registered Architect with professional licenses in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey and Montana. In the past three decades he has completed projects in Florida, South Carolina, New Jersey, Montana, all six New England states, and Prince Edward Island, Canada.

Rob has extensive experience working on behalf of individual property owners, private institutions and commercial business agents. He is detail-oriented, bringing a combination of strengths in design, project management and technical issues to his practice, as well as extensive field experience and a strong command of construction issues.
